Program / Module Changes

VIEW MENU

Posts, Cars and Radios can now be assigned through the screen - F11 (Set Employees to Posts)
View versions of any PC using POSS - Registered Computers
Expanded Activity Log - Activity Log

SETUP MENU

Ability to set limits on time banks - Employee Profile / Allotted Days Off Tab (Max Amt)
Automatic External Defibrillator’s can now be added to the system - Update AED
Max Hours for Employees can be scheduled per pay week / pay period – Employee / Employee Profile / Payroll Tab
Unpaid Lunch Hours are new deducted automatically from work hours and days off – Employee / Employee Profile / Payroll Tab
Payroll Distribution for Employee from different accounts - Employee Profile / Payroll Tab
Employee can be assigned to different Pay Groups – Employee / Update Employee Profile / General Tab
Employee ID / Code can now be changed – Employee / Employee Profile / Change Employee Code)
Shift Codes can now be changed – Shifts / Change Shift Code
Ability to schedule an employee off for a holiday or OT automatically for a holiday – Update Holidays / Update Holidays by Affiliation
Import Pay rates from Other Programs – Employee / Import Employee Payrate by SS #
Import Employee Data from other programs – Employee / Import Employee Information
Able to disable time balance checking on certain time banks / day off codes - Update Valid Days Off / Application Control Tab
Day off codes can now be made active / inactive – Updated Valid Days Off – General Tab
Day off codes can have a no pay status so that on the timesheets they don’t report any hours but still display on the timesheet – Updated Valid Days Off – Application Control Tab
Ability to Hide Social Security Numbers – Update Department Profile
Crossing Guard Posts and Times can now be setup – Update Crossing Guard Posts / Times
Create 6 Different Levels for Shift Validating - Department Profile & Employee Profile

UPDATE SCHEDULE MENU

Employees can automatically be assigned to posts on a rotating schedule – Auto Assign Employees to the Post
Ability to Create and Schedule Open Shifts – Open Shifts Sections
Multiple Employees can be assigned to OT on the same OT slip - Assign Overtime to Shift / Employee Selection Tab

REPORTS MENU

See how many hours and employee has worked Extra Duty Extra Duty – Total Extra Duty Worked Report
Custom Crystal Reports can now be saved as part of POSS - Custom

TIMESHEETS MENU

When timesheets are created, any new OT / Day off slips can be automatically processed, paid and also have Payroll Rules applied as the timesheets are generated - Create Timesheets
Timesheets from previous pay periods can now be archived and viewed at anytime.
OT and Day Off slips can be edited after the pay period has been closed - Closed Period Adjustments

TIMECLOCKS MENU

Attach Shift to Punch Times - Attach Shift to Punch IN and OUT
Generate report of employee punch times - Reports / Employee Swipe Report
Create and Print Time Cards – Create / Print Time Cards

RIGHT CLICK MENU

Create Validation Rules for Specific Dates (Validation Rules / Right Click Menu)
Part Time Employee Scheduler (Right Click Menu)

Crossing Guard Module
Schedules for crossing guards can be created in POSS and also paid based on either worked hours or paid hours

Web Portal
Ability for Employees to sign Timesheets from the Web
Extra Duty Jobs that are filled will no longer appear on the Extra Duty Signup

VCSSendEmailService
New Version (replace POSSSendEmail program)

PARS
Ability to enter dialing out code

Extra Duty Billing
Update Actual Hours Worked will update the Invoice and Schedule
Reports
Ability to lock a job once it is filled so that it no longer appears on the web
Payroll Report
Ability to Create Job Categories
