VCS’ Premiere Implementation Success Plan

VCS’ Implementation Plan utilizes a combination of presentations, hands-on training, learning videos, and practice sessions which enable organizations to achieve a high level of proficiency with the system as rapidly as possible. Training is focused on the software’s functional features, the day-to-day operation of the software, the system’s reporting and analytic capabilities, and the working integration with payroll systems.

Understanding your organization’s needs defines the Discovery phase of Implementation. At this first stage, VCS works with you to elicit and clarify all project requirements.

Goals are to identify the project team, document all key processes towards the building of a project plan, and develop an understanding of all key components required for success.

During the Build Schedules phase, the VCS implementation team focuses on the creation of a scheduling prototype configuration intended to maximize the system benefits and ROI you expect from the product.

Our project team will work closely with you to translate your defined objectives into workable data that supports all reporting requirements that arose during the Discovery process.

A data review session defines the beginning of the Training phase in which setup and configuration adjustments are made to the scheduling prototype defined in Build Schedules.

VCS’ Train-the Trainer program ensures that your administrative staff and key personnel have been thoroughly trained on all system components and processes during classroom sessions, labs, and individualized instruction.

During Deployment, the VCS and client project teams work closely together to assess the level of system proficiency in anticipation of Go Live.

Through a combination of previously scheduled conference calls and e-learning opportunities, the client is walked through a final evaluation process culminating in user adoption.

Communities is a virtual location available to clients 24/7/365 and is the heartbeat of VCS scheduling system support and information. Your scheduling education is continually enhanced with access to training videos, knowledge base articles, and recorded webinars. Instant e-ticket support and access to VCS scheduling professionals is available to all visitors.

Clients are encouraged to communicate best practices with each other and join focus groups organized by industry, location, product, and user level. Clients can also post helpful articles, ask for shift rotation suggestions, discuss software applications, and just connect in the spirit of collaboration.

Project Manager

Your PM is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of your implementation. As your primary point of contact, the PM is extremely knowledgeable about the software system and will direct you through the entire process, from start to finish.


Account Rep

Your Account Representative will know you by name and will manage all aspects of your account with VCS. From client satisfaction to product and service questions to your account status, the Account Rep will always be available to you and will ensure you receive the very best care.


Software Trainer

Well versed in scheduling and time & attendance best practices, your Software Trainer will expertly provide a comprehensive instructional program of our software system. Training sessions can be done on site or online and include classroom training, self-paced video learning, and practice exercises.


Support Team

The VCS Support Team is always willing to go the extra mile in providing our clients with fast, courteous, and knowledgeable support. Customers can access our team via the VCS “Communities” support portal, email, phone, or by scheduling a personal “Help Out” with a scheduling professional.
